Britannia Airways extends Livelink agreement with Open Text

Collaboration and content management software provider Open Text Corp has said that Britannia Airways has extended its deployment of Livelink software to provide PDA and laptop access during flights.

This means that pilots and cabin crew will have real-time access to critical flight data on the aircraft during flights.

Britannia Airways' original Livelink application featured a flight briefing system, which provides pre-flight data such as passenger manifests, staff schedules and security information.

The value of the deployment was not announced.
