AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
AmericanConnection carrier TransStates Airlines will increase service from Springfield's Capital Airport to St. Louis' Lambert International Airport to five daily departures from 2 March. All flights will operate with Jetstream 41 aircraft.
Trinidadian airline BWIA is to launch direct flights to the Dominican Republic on Saturday (24 January). The twice-weekly flights from Piarco International Airport will be subsidised by the government of Trinidad.
American Airlines will launch a new nonstop service between New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport and Phoenix on 31 January. Two daily flights will service the route, using Boeing 757 aircraft. An introductory fare is available, priced at USD79 each way based on a round trip purchase. Conditions apply.
