An aircraft operated by easyJet made an emergency landing yesterday (11 July) after a warning light was triggered.

The Boeing 737 aircraft was travelling from Liverpool, England, to Belfast International Airport, Northern Ireland, when a warning light indicated problems with the aircraft's hydraulic system. The pilot requested an emergency landing at the Belfast airport, where extra fire crews were put on standby.

The aircraft touched down safely, and the Fire Service said a small hydraulic leak had been found in the aircraft, The Associated Press reported.
