Boeing has adopted four shades of blue and two shades of white combined to depict the sky and horizon as its Commercial Airplanes brand colours.
The new design was developed for the aircraft maker's new Boeing 7E7 Dreamliner aircraft and will feature on all Boeing commercial aircraft and the related literature, catalogues and models.
Images of the 717, 737, 747, 767 and 777 aircraft in the new colours are available on the company's website. The new design replaces Boeing's white upper fuselage, blue lower fuselage, and red, white and blue striping colour scheme introduced in 1981.
