Two F-16 fighter jets were scrambled to escort a single-engine aircraft after it entered restricted airspace during a visit to Cincinnati by US President George W. Bush.
During the president's visit yesterday (21 June) airspace was restricted within 35 nautical miles of Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, where Air Force One landed. The pilot of the single-engine aircraft claimed that he was not aware of the restrictions.
Secret Service agents interviewed the pilot after he had landed at Butler County Regional Airport, reported The Associated Press.
