The US government has announced that it has settled a discrimination case brought against Delta Air Lines.

Delta Air Lines was accused of discriminating against people of Arab, Muslim, Middle-Eastern or Southeast Asian descent in the wake of the 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks in the US.

The government said that Delta was found to have acted in a manner that went against federal discrimination laws. The airline agreed to provide civil rights training to its staff that costs no less then USD900,000. The airline itself acknowledged no wrong doing, reported The Associated Press.
