Turkish Airlines has not yet decided on aircraft order

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Turkish Airlines has not yet reached a final decision on plans for an aircraft purchase, despite earlier reports.

It was previously reported that the carrier was set to order 16 Boeing 737-800s, scheduled for delivery from 2005.

However, the company has not yet reached an agreement and is continuing talks with both Airbus and Boeing, reported Reuters.
