Longest nonstop passenger flight to be flown by Singapore Airlines

On 28 June, the longest nonstop passenger flight by distance in aviation history is scheduled to take place.
The flight will depart from Newark Liberty International Airport for Singapore Changi Airport. The flight will be operated by Singapore Airlines, using an Airbus A340-500 aircraft.
The aircraft will fly for 18 and a half hours, touching down after 10,357 miles.
