The European Commission is reportedly concerned that the allocation of landing slots at London's Heathrow Airport does not comply with European Union guidelines.

The Commission is concerned about the compliance with rules that govern the allocation of the valuable slots set out in a European Union law known as Regulation 93, and has sent a letter to UK authorities requesting information.

UK authorities have two months to respond to the letter, reported Reuters.
