A strike could reportedly close eight Norwegian airports on 24 June if negotiations between the Norwegian civil aviation administration Avinor's employer organisation NAVO and labour unions LO Stat, YS and SAN do not resume.
The deadline for a solution was reportedly midnight on 23 June.
If a settlement is not reached 202 union members at nine airports would reportedly go on strike, forcing the closure of eight of the airports.
Airports due to close would include Bergen, Harstad/Narvik, Sandnessjoen, Mosjoen, Bronnoysund, Sandane, Sognal and Haugesund.
The labour conflict is over wages and working principles, reported the Norwegian online air traffic news provider Boarding.no.
