Virgin Atlantic Airways and South African Airways form codeshare agreement

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Virgin Atlantic Airways and South African Airways (SAA) have formed a codeshare agreement and reciprocal frequent flyer programme.
The codeshare agreement is scheduled to commence on 31 October 2004, and will enable passengers travelling on Virgin Atlantic services between London and Johannesburg to connect onto South African Airways services to numerous destinations in South Africa including Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Mpumulanga and Pilanesburg.
The frequent flyer programme cooperation will offer reciprocal benefits to members of both Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and South African Airways Voyager programme.
