Bahrainian authorities meet with British Airways

The Bahrainian authorities stepped up its consultation with domestic and international airlines by meeting with representatives from British Airways.
The Minister of Transportation Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa met with British Airways' new head of Middle East and Southern Asian Operations Amanda Paul to discuss how the kingdom could improve cooperation between itself and airlines.
The minister had met other airline representatives earlier in June 2004 to discuss developments within the aviation industry, reports The Associated Press.
