A Singapore Airlines flight was delayed by police today (30 June) for security reasons.
The aircraft was scheduled to leave for Bangkok when police detained the flight at 1040 local time after a passenger found a note under a seat warning of a bomb or other explosive device. All passengers were removed from the flight.
The flight was eventually cleared for takeoff about five hours behind schedule following a search which found no evidence of a bomb, reported Reuters.
