Pilots at ATA Airlines have reportedly ratified an amended labour agreement with the airline.

The pilots - represented by the Air Line Pilots Association - have approved the labour contract, which is expected to save the airline about USD70m over the next three years. The airline requested the cost cuts after the company posted a loss of USD387m.

The contract amendments are effective today (1 July), The Associated Press reported.
