Tegal Airport in Berlin, Germany, was temporarily closed down on Saturday (13 March) after a bomb threat was received.

At 1347 local time an anonymous caller claimed that a bomb had been planted at a business in the airport. Due to the threat, officials evacuated the airport. Passengers were permitted to return to the airport about 40 minutes later after it was determined that the threat was not credible.

Police are currently investigating the incident, reported The Associated Press.
