An eight-year-old Chinese boy is suing China Eastern Airlines after he was overcharged for an airline ticket.

The boy purchased a ticket from the airline for travel to the southwestern city of Kunming during January's Lunar New Year festival, and was charged the full price. The boy later discovered that he was entitled to a 50% discount.

He has now decided to sue the airline as well as a Ningbo travel agency for compensation and a public apology in a local newspaper.
