An EgyptAir aircraft is said to have caught fire shortly after landing at an airport in Luxor, Egypt.

The Airbus A600 aircraft had arrived at the airport on a flight from Aswan, southern Egypt, with 143 passengers on board, when a fire broke out at the front wheel of the aircraft. The fire - thought to have been caused by a leak of hydraulic oil - was promptly extinguished by airport fire fighters.

The passengers disembarked the aircraft normally, and no one was injured in the incident, reported The Associated Press.
