United Airlines has published some travel tips to make passengers' travel experience easier during the upcoming Memorial Day holiday.

The airline is advising customers to visit http://united.com for up-to-the-minute flight and travel information, including information about specific airports. Customers can also sign up for the carrier's flight status alert service, and check in online, at curbside locations or via its EasyCheck-In self-serve kiosks.

The airline's baggage allowance is two bags weighing no more than 50 lbs each, and any baggage over the specified weight will incur a USD25 fee. International customers are allowed two free checked bags of up to 70 lbs each in weight. Passengers are also allowed one carry-on bag.

United Airlines also said that it was further expanding travellers' destination options by adding some new international and US-domestic routes.
