Kenya Airways took delivery of its first Boeing 777-200ER (Extended Range) aircraft earlier this week. The aircraft is said to be the first Boeing 777 to regularly operate in sub-Saharan Africa and the only aircraft in the region powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 800 engines. The airline is adding the aircraft to its fleet of all-Boeing 737 and 767 aircraft, and has two additional 777-200ERs on order.
