Singapore Airlines will not delay delivery of Airbus A380 aircraft

Singapore Airlines will not delay the delivery of its superjumbo Airbus A380 aircraft.
The airline has ordered ten of the double-decker 555-seat aircraft and is scheduled to begin taking deliveries in early 2006. The airline will use the aircraft on its long haul routes to the US and Europe.
Virgin Atlantic has postponed the delivery of its six A380 aircraft by 18 months to the end of 2007.
