Indian Airlines flight returns due to cracked windshield

An Indian Airlines flight had to return to Delhi airport on Tuesday (25 May) after a crack developed in the aircraft's windshield.

The crack is said to have developed minutes after the flight to Pune departed from Delhi airport, causing the aircraft to jerk repeatedly. The 145-seat aircraft, carrying 107 passengers, returned safely to the airport without further incident.

Another flight was reportedly arranged later that day.
