Hainan Airlines to acquire three Boeing 737-800 aircraft

China's Hainan Airlines is to purchase three Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a CNY1.1bn loan from the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China secured on 1 November 2004.
The aircraft will be used by the carrier Shanxi Airlines and will delivered in July, August and September 2005. The new aircraft will bring the number of Boeings in the Shanxi Airlines fleet to eight.
The airline group's president Chen Feng said that the new aircraft would pay a crucial role in increasing Shanxi Airlines' domestic operations in the north of China, reports Xinhuanet.
