ExpressJet reports 21% increase in October revenue passenger miles

US carrier ExpressJet has reported an increase in passenger traffic and capacity over October 2004 with the airline flying 671.6m revenue passenger miles, up 21% on the same period in 2003.

ExpressJet said that its available seat miles also increased, by 15.2% on October 2003. The airline's load factor was up four percentage points to 74.3% over 2003's figures.

The airline operates mainly as Continental Express, providing regional jet services for Continental Airlines from its hubs in Houston, New York/Newark and Cleveland.
