Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier has announced that it has signed a deal with Austria's Styrian Spirit carrier for a CRJ700 regional jet and the option for a second.

The deal worth USD30.2m will see Styrian Spirit increase its Bombardier fleet to four, with the airline already operating three CRJ200 aircraft on its routes from Graz to Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Krakow and Zurich.

Styrian Spirit also placed a firm order for a fourth CRJ200 aircraft in July 2004, reports The Associated Press.
