A China Eastern Airlines Airbus A300 was forced to make an emergency landing while flying from Shanghai to Hainan after experiencing problems with its cabin pressure.
Passengers onboard felt discomfort in their ears and felt nauseous before the captain announced the problem. The flight was diverted to the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou according to local newspaper reports.
The incident comes days after a China Eastern Airlines Bombardier CRJ200 aircraft crashed into a frozen lake shortly after takeoff in northern China killing all 55 people on board. A spokesperson from China Eastern Airlines was not available to comment on the incident, reports The Associated Press.
