Frontier Airlines announces preliminary October traffic figures

Frontier Airlines has released its preliminary passenger figures for October 2004, showing an increase in revenue passenger miles, available seat miles and load factor.

According to the airline's figures it flew 540,084,000 revenue passenger miles, up 27.8% on October 2003, with available seat miles increasing by 27.7% to 737,801,000. The load factor worked out at 73.2%, up by 0.1 percentage points from the same period in 2003.

Passenger yield for October 2004 stood at USD0.972, down 13.2% on October 2003, with passenger revenue per available seat mile also down by 13.2% at USD0.711.
