SAS reports passenger numbers up 2.6% in October 2004

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Scandinavian airline group SAS reported on Monday (8 November) that its number of transported passengers had increased by 2.6% year-on-year to 3.0m passengers in October 2004.
Total passenger traffic (RPK) had increased by 7.7%, according to SAS.
Overall group passenger load had increased by 0.4 percentage points to 65.2% in October 2004, as compared to October 2003.
SAS said that yields were down 7.0% in September 2004, as compared to September 2003, but were stabilizing in October 2004.
