Turkmenistan Airlines acquires two Boeing 717 aircraft

US aerospace company Boeing and Turkmenistan Airlines have reached an agreement for the delivery of two Boeing 717-200 aircraft to the central Asian carrier.
The aircraft have a value of USD80m at list prices and are scheduled for delivery in August 2005. Turkmenistan's national carrier will then have a fleet of five Boeing 717-200s, three 737-300s and four 757-200s.
Boeing now has now seen orders for its smallest aircraft reach 169 with this latest order, reports The Associated Press.
