The Israeli Airports Authority has reached an agreement with foreign airlines over the service fees for the use of the new Terminal 3 at Ben Gurion airport.

The new terminal is set to open in November 2004 and boasts improved passenger services. After long negotiations the Airports Authority has decided to keep the charges for the new terminal the same as the old Terminal 2 even if services are improved.

The negotiations were headed by the Airports Authority's director-general Gabi Ophir and Continental Airlines Israel director Avi Friedman who also agreed to keep the negotiating channels open to avoid any long drawn out talks in the future, reports Globes Online.
