A Korean Airlines flight from Seoul to Tokyo, Japan managed to make a safe landing at Tokyo's Haneda airport despite the aircraft's on-board computer reporting a fault with its landing flaps.
Korean Airlines said that the pilot was alerted by a warning lamp indicating that there was a problem with the aircraft's flaps so he circled to check for problems. Now that the aircraft has landed more detailed checks are being carried out.
A Haneda airport official said that no injuries were reported and the aircraft, carrying 270 passengers, made a normal landing after going into a holding pattern, reports Reuters.
