Low-cost carrier Virgin Express has announced a new service from its base in Brussels, Belgium to Valencia in Spain commencing on 15 December 2004.
The airline will operate two flights a week to start and will increase the service depending on the popularity of the route. A spokesperson for Virgin Express said that the carrier expects to be operating daily flights to Valencia by the summer of 2005.
Virgin Express has recently merged with Belgium's SN Brussels Airlines but will continue to operate separately for at least the next two years, with duplicate routes being eliminated and purchasing power combined, reports The Associated Press.
