SAS reports passenger numbers up 2.9% in September 2004

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Scandinavian airline group SAS reported on Thursday (7 October) that its number of transported passengers had increased by 2.9% year-on-year to 3.0m passengers in September 2004.
Total passenger traffic (RPK) had increased by 3.4%, according to SAS.
Overall group passenger load had decreased by 1.9 percentage points to 65.3% in September 2004, as compared to September 2003.
SAS also said that yields were down 7.0% in August 2004, as compared to August 2003.
