SAS Flight Academy AB opens new training centre in Norway

SAS Flight Academy AB, part of the Scandinavian airline group SAS, said on Thursday (7 October) that it had established a new training centre at Oslo Airport in Gardermoen, Norway.
The new training centre opened on 15 August 2004, with opening ceremonies scheduled for 7 October.
In the first phase, three full flight simulators would be featured: a Boeing 737 Next-Generation, a Boeing 737 Classic and a Dash8-100/300. The training centre also includes cabin-training equipment for these aircraft types.
The company already has two training centres, one in Stockholm, Sweden and the other in Copenhagen, Denmark.
