Embraer confirms Republic Airways Holdings order

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer has confirmed that Republic Airways Holdings has converted one of its EMBRAER 170 aircraft options into a firm order.
The deal was confirmed at the end of September 2004 and will appear in Embraer's third quarter orders. Republic Airways Holdings now has 23 firm orders for EMBRAER 170 aircraft and still holds an additional 27 options.
The aircraft will be put into service with United Express. Republic Airways Holdings operates a fleet of 97 Embraer aircraft, all of which are flown under its airline partner brands which include United Express, Delta Connection and US Airways Express.
