European aircraft manufacturer Airbus has said that it expects to deliver more commercial aircraft in 2004 than it did in 2003.
Airbus overtook its US-based rival Boeing in 2003 by delivering 305 commercial jets, and despite not yet finalising its delivery schedule for the end of 2004 the company expects to beat this total.
A spokesperson for Airbus said that even though final delivery figures for 2004 had yet to be worked out the total would definitely be above 305, reports The Associated Press.
