AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

United Express, a subsidiary of United Airlines, is to launch a new nonstop, three times daily roundtrip service between Chicago and Ontario, Canada. Flights will begin on 31 October 2004 and tickets are on sale now. Introductory fares for the service start at USD118.

Emirates is to add the Seychelles to its network from January 2005. Services will start from 2 January 2005 with a schedule of three nonstop flights per week on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays between Dubai and Mahe, Seychelles. The flight from Dubai is timed to allow connections from the airline's UK gateways. The services will be operated by Airbus A330-200 aircraft.

Gulf Air is to expand its Gulf Traveller all-economy service to Europe with a new nonstop flight from Adu Dhabi to Birmingham, UK. Services to Birmingham will begin on 1 April 2005 using a Boeing 767-300ER on a four flights a week schedule until 20 June 2005 when the flights will become daily, reports Air & Business Travel News.
