The Norwegian state-owned air traffic control company Avinor AS reportedly has plans to reduce its fees.

In addition to reducing by 0.5% the fees for airlines using its air traffic control services and airports Avinor also plans to reduce the security fees for passengers from the current NOK42 to NOK40.

According to Randi Flesland, CEO of Avinor, the planned reductions reflect the increase in air traffic and reduced costs for Avinor.

Flesland was interviewed by the Norwegian daily Aftenposten.
