Frankfurt Airport reports increase in passenger traffic

Germany's Frankfurt Airport has reported that its passenger traffic for August 2004 was up 1.8% on August 2003 to 4.92m.
Airport officials said that a rise in intercontinental traffic has led to a record number of passengers and flights.
Frankfurt Airport's overall traffic for the first eight months of 2004 increased by 6.9% compared with the same period in 2003, reports Reuters.
