US Airways securities to be delisted from the Nasdaq

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

US Airways common stock will cease trading on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange on 22 September 2004 after the airline filed for bankruptcy.

The airline was informed on 13 September 2004 that its securities will be delisted in accordance with market rules. The company's ticker symbol will be amended from UAIR to UAIRQ as from start of trading on 15 September 2004.

The shares will still be available to trade on the 'over the counter' market after they are delisted but US Airways has urged caution with respect to any investment in these securities.
