Mexicana Airlines signs new parts deal with Goodrich

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Mexicana Airlines has signed a deal with US-based aircraft wheels and brakes manufacturer Goodrich Corporation to provide parts for its 10 new Airbus A318 aircraft.
The aircraft will be fitted with Goodrich wheels and carbon brakes when they are delivered in the fourth quarter of 2004.
A spokesperson for Goodrich Corporation said that the new agreement is a reflection of the confidence Mexicana Airlines has in its products. Mexicana Airlines has 45 aircraft fitted with Goodrich wheels and brakes.
