Air traffic controllers in Royken, Norway have stopped work in protest at plans to close their offices.

Over 100 flights have been disrupted at Oslo's Gardermoen airport after the air traffic controllers began the unscheduled protest at around 1100 local time on Monday (27 September).

The workers are angry at plans by state-owned air traffic control firm Avinor to cut the number of control stations from four to two. Talks between workers and Avinor are taking place but it is unclear when they will return to work, reports Reuters.
