MedAire provides medical emergency assistance to Etihad Airways

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Health and security service provider MedAire Inc has signed a deal with Etihad Airways which will give the airline access to MedAire's hospital-based physicians via an aircraft's communications systems.
MedAire claims the deal will provide Etihad Airways with medical assistance, logistics help and diversion site planning for aircraft crew dealing with an on-board medical emergency.
The MedAire service operates from its MedLink Global Response Center via an aircraft's existing communications system.
