AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Bahrain and Belarus signed a new aviation accord in Minsk on 28 September 2004. The deal was signed by the Bahrainian Minister for Transportation, who is in Belarus on an official visit, and his Belarusian counterpart.

AirTran Airways has announced a sale on fares to all of its destinations. Fares start at USD39 each way and are available through the airline's website at www.airtran.com, travel agents or the AirTran Airways reservations system until 1 October 2004.

United Airlines is offering special fares from October 2004 on its new services from Washington Dulles to Memphis, Tenn., Milwaukee, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Pa., and Houston. Passengers can also collect bonus miles if they are part of United Airlines' frequent flyer scheme. Fares start at USD79 and are valid for travel until 31 January 2005.
