Air China Ltd is a joint-stock company with limited liabilities that brings the former state-controlled carrier into line with Chinese law concerning listed companies.
The airline is planning to list in both Hong Kong and New York by early 2005 with an offering of 30% of its shares which is expected to raise between USD500m and USD800m, reports Dow Jones.
