On 8 September 2004 Delta Air Lines will unveil its plan to restructure its USD20bn debt which is expected to include more job cuts and changes to the airline's hub system.
The plan is expected to be revealed by the airline's CEO Gerald Grinstein during a webcast to investors and employees. Grinstein has already confirmed that job cuts will be a part of the plan but did not say how many.
Airline analysts believe that the plan will be rolled out in a blaze of publicity to convince investors that it will create a viable company as long as its pilots agree to concessions, reports The Associated Press.
