ATA Airlines has launched its 'ATA Fare Better Sale' for travel during the autumn. Sale fares are available from USD49 off peak to/from destinations across the US including New York, Cozumel, Honolulu, Orlando, Las Vegas and Washington DC. Tickets must be purchased by midnight EDT on 20 September 2004 and travel completed by 16 February 2005.

Frontier Airlines has reported that its passenger traffic for August 2004 increased by 18.1% from the same period in 2003. Available seat miles increased by 39.7% over August 2003 resulting in a load factor of 73.6% for August 2004 - a drop of 6.1% on August 2003. Passenger revenue per seat mile was also down on August 2003.

American Airlines and American Eagle have announced that they will be offering special College Football Fares to make it easier for fans to travel with their team. The fares are available as weekly specials throughout the season with information about which flights are on offer available each week at www.AA.com.

Continental Airlines is to start a new nonstop daily service between New York and Bristol, UK starting on 19 May 2005. The service will be the first transatlantic service between the US and the southwest of England, linking Bristol airport with New York's Newark Liberty International Airport. Continental Airlines will use a Boeing 757 aircraft carrying 172 passengers on the route.

American Airlines is offering 15,000 bonus miles to AAdvantage members who chose to travel on services offered by its partners in the oneworld airline alliance. The oneworld alliance consists of eight airlines serving 575 destinations. Members can qualify for the bonus miles by purchasing tickets to fly with American Airlines and two other oneworld airlines between 1 October-30 November 2004.
