KCAA bans construction and operation of home-made aircraft

The construction and operation of home-made aircraft has been banned in Kenya.
The Kenyan Civil Aviation Authority has reportedly banned home-made aircraft following the failed attempt by a student to fly a home-made aircraft in Kitale, Kenya last week.
The KCAA has said that anyone who wants to carry out such activities has to apply to the authority first, under the country's laws, the Kenyan newspaper The Standard reported.
