Aegean Airlines bids for Olympic Airlines

Greek carrier Aegean Airlines said on Wednesday (13 April) that it had submitted a binding bid for Greek state carrier Olympic Airlines.
Aegean has submitted the bid to participate in the final stage of the privatization of Olympic Airlines' flight operations, the carrier said.
The deadline for submitting binding bids for Olympic Airlines was Wednesday (13 April). Five companies, including Aegean Airlines and German low-cost carrier DBA, had earlier submitted non-binding bids, said an official quoted by The Associated Press.
