Hawaiian Airlines has reached a tentative agreement with its pilots' union.
While the terms of the agreement between the airline and the Air Line Pilots Association have not been disclosed, the leading negotiator Captain Jim Giddings said that the tentative three-year agreement contains pay increases of 1% for each of the years.
About a month ago the union rejected another agreement proposal, giving increasing medical costs and changes in retirement benefits as reasons, according to The Associated Press.
The term for the contract would be 30 June 2004 to 30 June 2007, as the previous contract expired last year. The vote on the proposal will take place, starting next week, through to 10 May.
