Governments agree on direct service between China and Bangladesh

China reportedly agreed on Thursday (7 April) to extend economic and technical cooperation to Bangladesh.

During the visit of the Chinese prime minister to Bangladesh the two sides also agreed to start direct air services between the two capitals. China's Eastern Airlines plans to start flying from Beijing to Dhaka, Bangladesh, via Kunming, from 18 May, officials said.
